Loddon Area Local Archive

Before Your Time applied for and was awarded a £4000 grant from Awards for All (the small fund of the National Lottery) to set up a local archive for the Loddon area using the Comm@NET software. Comm@NET is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes, supports and develops community archives.

We are currently preparing to start this project by investing our Awards for All money in the equipment and computer software needed. We have permission to house the main computer in Loddon Branch Library where a lot of the work will be done. We are currently being trained in using the programme!

In the near future we will be publishing the days when we will be in Loddon library for people to come down with original photos and other material to add to our existing collection.
